Yes – with mcpbrief. mcpbrief is an MCP connector (Model Context Protocol) that you add in Claude (claude.ai, Desktop, Code) or ChatGPT. Your AI assistant can then send real letters and registered mail. You can also send letters directly on the website.

No. Printing, enveloping and franking are done in a print centre of our partner Pingen – in the destination country wherever possible. The recipient gets a completely normal letter with your name or company as the sender.

Letters received on business days by early afternoon are usually printed and handed over to the postal service on the same or the next business day. Domestic delivery usually takes 1–3 business days, international delivery longer.

The price depends on the destination country (standard / priority / registered): Germany €1.79 / €2.39 / €7.79, Austria €2.79 / €3.39 / €10.79, other EU/EEA countries €2.99 / €3.59 / €11.89, rest of the world €4.69 / €5.29 / €14.29 – each incl. the first page, printing, envelope and postage. Individual country prices, e.g. for Switzerland, France, Spain, Benelux and the UK, are listed on the pricing page. Each additional page €0.24, colour printing €0.18 per page. All prices are final prices incl. VAT, no subscription, no base fee.

If the print centre cannot read the address or rejects the document, the letter is not sent and the amount is automatically credited back to your balance. You will receive an email. If a letter is returned by the postal service as undeliverable, the postage has been used and is not refunded.

Text and Markdown (Claude writes the letter), PDF, Word (DOCX), HTML, JPG and PNG. Finished documents automatically get an address sheet with the address in the envelope window added in front.

mcpbrief instructs Claude to show the address, delivery type, page count, price and a PDF preview before every dispatch and to wait for your confirmation. In addition, Claude usually asks for approval itself before paid actions.

Letter documents are deleted automatically after 30 days. Date, recipient, page count, status and tracking number are kept for your accounting.

Registered mail is delivered by the respective national postal service with a tracking number and proves dispatch and delivery. Like registered mail sent at the post office counter, it does not prove the content of the letter. For particularly important deadlines, we recommend allowing enough lead time and keeping the preview as evidence.

mcpbrief is intended for individual letters and mail merges to known recipients – private and business. Mass advertising is not permitted; to prevent abuse there is a daily limit (20 letters on the first day, then it doubles every day).

Yes, every purchase automatically comes with an invoice by email showing VAT or a reverse charge note.

Yes. mcpbrief uses the open Model Context Protocol and can be added to ChatGPT as an app/connector with the same URL.

Yes. Under “Mail merge” you upload an address list (CSV) and write a template with placeholders such as {{anrede}}. Claude can do this too – just say “Send this letter to all customers on the list”. Up to 200 recipients per batch.

Yes. Every account has a personal order address. Send the PDF from your account e-mail there – options such as registered mail or duplex are set via the subject.

Yes. Attach more PDFs, Word files or photos as enclosures – they are placed after the letter. Duplex prints on both sides; the price per page stays the same and the letter gets thinner.
